People and organisations achieve great things by synergising, applying shared values and being focussed on their vision and priorities. Great school communities are just that groups of people working together for a common purpose. I was honoured to win the position of BPIHS Principal 15 years later, beginning the role in January 2006 and I m very proud to have been the longest-serving Principal of the school. Happily, half of my career in education has been committed to Banksia Park, having won the position of Home Economics Coordinator from January 1984 and being appointed by the inaugural Principal Mr Les Kemp a position I held until 1991, including teaching some PE and Maths during this time.
